Cats By Joyce

I’ve been facilitating art club at Springfields nursing home in Garforth for over a year now and Ive been working with the members of art club to help them make their own art and enjoy the making processes.

Joyce comes to art club and draws cats. We made some prints to sell at their annual summer fair and the fact her cat prints actually sold gave her a boost of confidence, and we planned to make a calendar of cats for her to sell at Christmas. So at each session she tried to make 12 cat drawings and finished it in September 2024. Ive put it together and got them printed. She already has some people who want to buy them. She is so impressed with herself, its so good to see and it makes me believe more in the importance of art club. Well done Joyce!
